  • The other one on my sofa-wishlist is Hella Jongerius Polder sofa for Vitra.

    The Dutch landscape was the final inspiration for this couch, as you can see from the fantastic selections of the colors. The back of the sofa also has its own lovely quirks, the brigthly colored yarns from the buttons.

    Now I found this one on sale somewhere, but no specific need for a new sofa…

  • Last week I posted the Womb chair of Eero Saarinen. It reminded me of the Slow chair, designed by the bothers Bouroullec for Vitra in 2007. To me it looks like a newer version. It is also designed to sit in different positions and also has two pillows to find the best position.

    The nice thing about this version is the knitted textile. This way it is better for you back and because it’s see through appearance it does not look so colossal in your living room.
