  • One of the other chairs I posted about, the one from de vorm, kept reminding me of another classic Dutch chair. De Utrecht or Metz chair was designed by Rietveld for Metz & Co in 1936. It was his design for an easy chair. It typically has woolen fabric and white stitches. Cassina has the rights of Rietveld’s designs so they produce the chairs.

  • I know I’m looking for a chair, not a sofa, but I almost wanted to throw my old couch out the door for this Mad men inspired sofa. It can be found at a small Utrecht shop, selling their own collection. All the names of their sofa’s are based on street names for Utrecht. This one is called Nobel.
