The papa bear chair by Hans J. Wegner

As one of the most important designers of Denmark, Hans J. Wegner started his career working as a furniture designer in Arne Jacobsen and Erik Moller’s architectural practice. After several years he started his own studio. During this time he designed around 500 chairs, from with the round chair got him the most fame. The round chair was used by presidents Nixon and Kennedy.

Personaly, I prefer the papa bear chair (formally known as Teddy bear chair). Not only the name, but the chair itself gives me the feeling of comfort by just looking at it.
